80's Baby® uses industry securtiy standard SSL technology to protect your information. When you shop with us or communicate your personal details to our payment system that then talks to our merchant provider, SSL allows all personal information, such as your credit card number, to be encrypted as it travels from one designated place to the next. Once received, the information is unencrypted and processed in the same way as a credit card transaction placed via the telephone. At no time is your credit card number stored on our website or in our online database.

To check the security of your computer, look to the left side of your address bar for a blue or green strip containing the name of the Website you are on, for Netscape users look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser window, or the lower right-hand corner of your browser window if you are using Internet Explorer. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock, then the encryption technology is active and the server is secure. You can also check by looking at the URL line of your browser; when you access a secure server, the initial characters of the site address will be "https."

ALL PAGES ARE NOT SECURE AS IT IS NOT NECESSARY. Most of the pages on our website provide information about 80's Baby® and our products. We make this information available freely and there's no reason for these pages to be "secure." The pages that we make secure are the ones on which you actually make the purchase, such as when managing your account, checking your order status, or within the "Checkout" area.

The security features are automatic, and always on. You don't have to do anything but shop. Clicking "Shopping Bag" on any page is all it takes to get started in our secure checkout process.

80's Baby® uses appropriate security measures to protect the information you provide to us. However, while we take these reasonable steps to protect this personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, you accept that no Internet data transmission can be guaranteed to be secure from access by unintended recipients and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this breach is due to our negligence.
